Revival of The Blog! (for Emelie)



Hello everyone (I think only Emelie will read this)!

I haven't blogged in a while.
It's curious how fast time flies, and how easy it is to change a habit once you've decided to do something about it.

I'm not sure what I was trying to say by that, but what has happened since last is..


- Beau and I had our show in March and it was oodles of fun (there are videos..)!
- I went to Montreal for a couple days and then New York for a wedding in May.
- Went to Sweden shortly after, came back to Toronto in the beginning of July.
- Started seeing a personal trainer right away (lost about 8 kg since then and have gained tremendous amounts of strength and endurance).
- Broke up with my boyfriend.
- Started noticing mice in the apartment.
- Went to two cottages in Ontario, one in Wasaga Beach and one in Muskoka. They were beautiful!
- Started seeing a new chiropractor, who took one look at me and diagnosed me perfectly, and by now we're well on our way on getting my body set straight (pun intended).
- Started my 2nd year of Concept Art at Max the Mutt. LOVING IT.
- Started having more problems with the apartment and suddenly, a door opened; the store I live above, expressed interest in the place and told me to try to find a better one for myself if I wanted. I did want to.
- Found an apartment (3 days ago) and found out tonight that I'm signing the contract tomorrow! It has everything I want and need, I try to think of things it's lacking, but I have nothing to come with.
- Read a book. Skinny Bitch - the best and most eye-opening read of my life. It will change your life too.
- Due to this book, I've become vegan. And I'm completely happy with it. It makes so much sense and I'm feeling privileged to have gotten this enlightenment. Will not preach to anyone, if you're interested at all in my discovery, please read the book, it took me about 2 hours, cover to cover (I just couldn't stop).

And here I am.
I've been stressed out lately but realizing the bad impact it has on my body and psyche.
Working out about 4 days a week, it makes me feel happier and that I'm doing myself a favor.
I'm trying hard to do really well at school, and will stop stressing about it and just do it. I think there's no better win-win for me.

Oh! Last weekend I went to the Hamptons for my brother's birthday. It was incredible!
Him, me and 15 of his friends in a house that sleeps 8, for 3 days. Saw many new things, many beautiful things, got to know beautiful people and most of all, I got to spend some time with my brother. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful family and such wonderful friends, I'm truly grateful.

There are no problems.
My head is hurting a bit, but most likely because I'm tired.

I miss my friends in Sweden but I know I will see them (you) soon.

This is what I have for now. Will post some pictures of the apartment and some artwork that I've done recently, to give you an idea of what life looks like.

  1. Visst fan, du har ju en blogg ju. Låter toppen, särskilt det där med träningen! Ska själv komma igång med sånt igen. Jag ska bara ... komma igång, först. Ha det bra!
