My first watercolor-assignment.
Well, gouache.
The point is to take a photograph, in my case a newborn whale, and for three assignments use it for different exercises.
The first one here is our monochromatic assignment.
We got to choose any color of the color wheel and use that one color with black and white to copy the photograph. I chose red. He also wanted one object in the picture to be the pure color.
Not many separate objects in this picture, so I chose the super-beam laser-whale-eyes, for that. :D
It was fun, I love painting!
I will post my oil paintings here too, when I get a chance.
